Terrific new resource that I will need to avoid if I am going to stay focused on writing this summer. I can research stuff forever. Writing it down is the hard part!

NTU Art & Design Library

A new website featuring the work of photographer Lee Miller has just been launched, featuring over 3,000 images covering surrealism, World War II, 20th Century fashion, and celebrity portraits.  Many of the images have not been seen before, and it’s hoped that more will be added to the collection.  The site can be accessed at www.leemiller.co.uk

I am an art historian specializing in early twentieth century American art with particular focus on the history of photography, race and representation, and transatlantic modernist networks. I earned my PhD at Yale University in the History of Art Department. Besides my leadership role as the Founding Co-Director of the Association for Critical Race Art History (ACRAH), I am recognized for my expertise on African American Art, particularly African American Photography, and as a seasoned consultant for exhibitions, museum collections, and symposia/lectures planning.
